First Lite Cordeelette Merino Hoody
Rating
4.7

The First Lite Cordeelette Merino Hoody is my pick when temperatures drop below freezing at camp or when I am hunting above 9,000 feet in October. Merino regulates temperature better than synthetics in variable conditions and resists odor over multi-day backcountry hunts. The 190-weight fabric balances warmth and packability. It costs more than synthetic base layers but the comfort and odor control are worth it on five-day elk hunts where laundry is not an option.
