About
My name is Brok, and western hunting is my passion. Most of my time is spent chasing mule deer, elk, and pronghorn across high desert basins, sagebrush ridges, and mountain country.

I've been hunting the West for over 30 years, and I genuinely enjoy sharing what I've picked up along the way — even if I'd be the first to admit it isn't all that much. Whether you're just getting started or looking to upgrade your kit, I hope to help you make a few solid gear decisions.
Western hunting is a lot of work, and it can get downright addicting. I never get tired of that moment when glassing turns into a stalk — or the satisfaction when a plan comes together after miles of empty country.
For a long time I ran the same gear season after season — one pair of boots, one pack, optics that were good enough. Eventually I started upgrading piece by piece, and the right gear made a real difference in how many miles I could cover and how comfortable I was doing it. The basics still work, but there's something satisfying about dialing in a system that fits your hunt.
I may not know everything about western hunting, but I know enough to be useful — and it's always a pleasure to help fellow hunters make smarter gear choices.
